Fabric information

From the ethically-sourced fibers to the eco-friendly dyes, every aspect of our homewares and loungewear embodies our passion for both craftsmanship and sustainability. There's a wabi-sabi quality to our fabrics. We design our homewares and lounge wear range with natural handwoven fibres that are certified as chemical free and dye our colours from plant based natural dyes.

Linen is made from flax plants, and is one of the strongest fibres in existence. We like to use flax in our cushions and lounge wear because it naturally resists bacteria and is very hardwearing. Due to its biodegradable qualities, linen is favoured by many for its low impact on the environment. 

Silk is known for its exceptional tensile strength, is highly valued for reasons beyond its physical properties. Some of our silk is a protein produced by silkworms, and we also use cellulose based silk - lotus silk.

Cotton - we use Cotton Corduroy, Poplin Cotton, Cotton Waffle Weave in our cotton homewares.

Care instructions for all of our fabrics

We recommend that with all of our fabrics you use natural soaps when washing. We recommend that you do not bleach or use harsh laundry soaps. Please wash in cool water and do not soak, hang to dry in a shady place.
